I’m a sweet guy that was brought into SCARS care because of the school yard bullies. Yah, dogs get bullied too! Some of the other dogs took a dislike to me and left me bleeding in the snow.  I wasn’t alone for long though as people showed up, took me inside and called the local SCARS volunteer to rescue me.

I’ve been vetted and had a fractured tooth removed, so I’m pretty well good to go.  My wounds are healing nicely and I have no hard feelings toward other dogs. The resident dogs in my foster home play well with me. We blast around the yard.

Of course the leash and house manners all need some work, but that’s to be expected from a guy who was probably never in a house before. I’m not super fond of the crate yet, but I’m working on it because it pleases my foster mom.

If you want a guy who’s past the puppy stage and is ready to go onto greatness in your home as the best pet ever, please fill out an application to adopt me.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
