October 7, 2021 – Meet Snickers 
Major dental surgery was completed with our friends at Westlock Veterinary Center. This old guy came into care and needed a lot of help. His mouth and ears were causing so much pain.
Snickers – dental was a mess. It was really bad. So many cavities. Resorbing roots. A lot of his teeth were crown amputated so we wait for the roots to be resorbed. He’s on Gabapentin and Metacam. He may need dental again in the future. It will be important to watch his eating habits and make sure he doesn’t seem in pain. He’s going to be sore but once he has healed, he will be much happier. He is not out of the woods just yet and is currently recovering from his big procedure yesterday.
