Hey guys, I’m Belle! I’m all settled in with my foster home now and I’m starting to get the hang of my routine around here. There’s one thing I know for sure – I’m always a very happy girl! My tail is pretty much always wagging. I’ll do new things if it involves treats – even if it’s something a little scary like going down the basement stairs or having my first bath.

I’ve learned to love my crate, and enjoy hanging out in there as my safe space. My foster family describes me as a very smart girl! I learn new things really quick.

I live in a house with some cats, which I do well with! I share my foster home with a resident dog, and I love his company. I do need proper introductions to new dogs, and take some time to warm up to them at first. But once we get a chance to get to know one another, I love to cuddle and play.

My foster home would like to send me to a home with another dog to help my confidence.

I HATE the cold temperatures – but LOVE going for walks – so I brave the cold anyways.

I absolutely love cuddles. If I could curl up on your lap and stay there all day, I totally would!

I’ve met children, and do really well with them. I’m calm natured and full of love.

I also have shown leash reactivity while on walks, and need someone with some patience to work with me on this. It has been getting better over time while in my foster home, however if you’re looking for a girl to take on trips to the dog park, I won’t be the right fit for you.

I would do best in a home with another dog, preferable a male.
I know my furrever family is out there – is it you!?

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
