Well I am a big guy with a soft heart. I am making the huge adjustment to foster care. Likely 4 or 5 years old, I have spent much of those years as a free roaming dog or likely tied up, until the pound guys caught up with me and said no more. I am currently living in an indoor outdoor setting. Outside during the day, inside at night. I am settling in to my new digs and seem to like it. I am learning leash skills, I am pretty good at that. My manners are also quite good, I rarely jump up, which is super important because of my large size. I don’t know any commands, like sit or stay, but usually respond to “Bos Come” – which is a good start, right? I haven’t done any digging in my pen and I am not a super barky dog. I will alert you if something is different in the yard, but I do not keep barking for no reason.
I like people and am friendly when meeting you. I haven’t met kids yet so I don’t know about that. The other dogs I have met have seemed okay, too. I do not like cats, not one little bit, so a cat free and small animal free (gerbil, rabbit, Hamster etc.) home is a requirement. I think I can adapt to city and indoor life, with a bit of patience or I could do very well on an acreage with indoor outdoor access.
Come give me a chance to be your new best friend.
