Hi I am Roady! I am around 10 mths old and take life at full speed energy kind of guy. I have had little training in my life, but my foster mom says I am pretty smart and have picked up walking on leash like a champ. I can be a bit leash reactive with other dogs though so do best meeting canine friends offleash in a secure area. As I am still very much a puppy, and have had little training to date. I will need someone who is patient, experienced with dogs and willing to give me consistent, clear boundaries. I will test them to make sure I understand what you mean. No puppy nips? What if I give you kisses then end with a quick nip? Don't want me on the patio table? Well, I should jump up one more time just to make sure. Don't want me to eat that food off the counter? TOO LATE that was DELICIOUS, thank you! Im just that kinda guy! Although I take life at 100km/hr, I will slow down for a quick snuggle or belly rub. I am very much a dog's dog and wake up every morning searching for my foster brother before I worry about saying good morning to the humans of the house. My foster parents have shown me that a crate is a good place to sleep at night and I agree. It is a safe space to recharge and be ready to go for tomorrow. Unfortunately, my foster parents do not believe I would do well in a house with small humans. If I have something that isn't mine but I want it, I can become a little bitey if the human taking it from me doesn't have the experience and confidence needed to take it from me safely. Overall I am a good boy looking for my person who can help me become a great boy. If that might be you, please apply to meet me!

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
