Update February 2020:

Hey people, I’m still here.  I have no idea why.  Foster mom says I’m such a lovely girl.  I love everyone.  I’m playing now with the other dogs here at my foster home and loving life.  I’m very responsive on the leash and am okay in a crate.  Did I mention, I love, love, love to be with my people?  They are everything to me.   I’m still young and  have lots of happy energy so would love to live an active lifestyle.  I’m also very smart if I do say so myself.  I figure things out pretty quickly so would love to have a person or family that would teach me lots of new things.  I love to learn.  Do you think you could be my person?  Why not come and meet me?  You won’t be sorry.

I am a young girl only about 2 years old so not much more than a pup myself.  I’m a big solid girl weighing in at about 75 pounds.    Foster mom says I’m the happiest, sweetest girl.   I love to play with my toys, the other dogs and my people.  The resident cats?  Not really my favourite.  I’m okay meeting them on the leash but given the chance I would love to chase them. I still have things to learn and like to jump when we are playing or when I am so happy to see you.   I would likely knock over very small children just trying to hug them.   For that reason, I would likely do better in a home without small children.

I’m still a little unsure of new things like planes flying over (I tried to get foster mom to pick me up but for some reason she didn’t think that was a good idea) and car rides.  The more is see new things though, the more comfortable I get.   I’m really just a big pile of love.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
