Holy man!! I’ve been in SCARS for almost 6  months. There have been quite a few applications for me, but none that were a great match.

I’m a Rottie mix boy around 3 or 4 years old. I had to come into rescue because my owners moved, didn’t take me, and I was getting beaten up too often by a roaming pack of gangster dogs.

For a guy that’s been left to his own devices I’m good on the leash and really want to please my foster mom. I take correction well. LOVE my food and want a real home of my own.

My perfect home would be with people who understand dogs and who want to work to on my training. I would be OK as an only dog. I’m not food aggressive, but I do like to eat my meals in peace without some cat, small dog or inquisitive child poking around near my bowl.

You can read the categories by my picture about kids/cats/dogs.

If you’re interested, please follow the link to the adoption application.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
