Foster mom has no idea why someone hasn’t scooped me up yet. She says I’m a very sweet lovable guy. I love my people so much that I spin circles when my foster parents come home. They say I’m so smart. I love to learn new things and keep my brain busy. I’m quite an active little guy so would love a home that could spend lots of time with me. I’m not a fan of being alone. Even a K9 buddy to play with would be amazing for when my parents are away from home. If you are an active home with lots of love to give I would love to meet you.
Update 20 Aug, 2017:
Well, I think it is time for foster mom to do an update for me. Foster mom says I’m the sweetest little guy. I’m continuing to thrive at my foster home. I do like the country life. Low stress. I’ve been very relaxed and open to new things. I even went in a huge parade on the weekend and foster mom said I handled it like a star. I’m still not a huge fan of meeting new dogs on a leash but once I get to know them I love to play. I love all of the dogs here. At the moment I live happliy with seven other dogs. My favorite is my foster sister Teeoli. We have the same energy level and just love to play all day. I would love to go to a forever home with her but if that’s not possible we just want to find our forever family to start the rest of our lives. My ideal family would spend lots of time with me playing and hanging out and will need an energetic dog buddy for me. I so love my people. Wouldn’t you love sweet little guy like me.
Update 23 July, 2017:
Well, I’ve been back at my foster home for just over a month now and have adjusted very well. While I still need to be introduced to new dogs properly I absolutely love the other dogs here. I currently live with 7 other canine buddies and get along great with all of them. I especially love playing with my Foster sister Teeoli. We have the same energy levels so we do a good job of keeping each other entertained. Maybe one of you nice SCARS supporters would like to adopt my foster sister and I together. That would be awesome. Either way, I will need to go to a home with another dog to help me feel comfortable when my people are gone. I absolutely love my people. Once I bond with you I do very well off leash. I like to stay close to foster mom on our walks so that I always know where she is. I’m doing better with my anxieties really am not a fan of a lot of stress. That brings out the anxiety in me. I happily go in my crate at mealtimes and for bed. I’m loving the country life where everything is familiar and peaceful. I guess I’m just a country boy at heart. An acreage home with a buddy and a family who loves to spend time with me would be my dream.
You may remember me from a few months ago as Luigi. I’ve recently been returned and am now back at my foster home. I loved my people and they loved me but sometimes things just don’t work out. You see, I’m not a fan of my people leaving me and when they do I tend to get a little stressed out and get myself into trouble. I’ve settled in well back at my foster home and am a happy playful boy. Foster mom has consulted with the SCARS training team and working to help me through some of those issues. Foster mom says I’m doing amazingly well since I’ve been back. I’ve been a good boy in my crate and am being a social butterfly with the other dogs here. Dog parks are not my thing. I can be dog selective but if introduced properly I can be a great play buddy. I remembered the resident dogs here right away and was so happy to see them. I instantly loved my foster sister Azura. My foster brother Zac is much bigger than me so it took a little longer for me to trust him but we are now buddies. Foster mom says I’m a smart guy. I love to learn new things and play so a home that can give me lots of mental and physical stimultaion would be ideal. I love all people I meet but still get excited when I see you and tend to jump up so might be a little much for small humans. Older kids though I think would be great.
I would need a canine buddy.
