You’re probably thinking “Why would someone name a cat ‘Fish’?” Well I got the name from the fact that I was found with a fish hook imbedded in my mouth. A hungry cat is going to do what a hungry cat is going to do. Thankfully the nice people at the vet clinic were able to take the painful facial piercing out without any damage!
You may also be wondering “Well if it was a fish hook, why didn’t they name her Hook? That’s an easy one to answer! It’s because I am about as far away from an evil villain as a kitty can get. I am certainly not an aggressive or ferocious pirate, in fact I am a sweet, loving and shy girl. My foster parents have been working with me to be more confident around people, but one thing they don’t have to worry about is if I am good with other kitties. I have my foster brother Lamont-who is also up for adoption- keeping me in fine feline company until we each find our forever homes.

I also love to give my foster brother, Lamont, his daily bath!

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
