Hi there! My name is JD and I’ll give you some back story about me. I was found as a stray with an unknown injury to my back leg, so the next day they took me to the vet to assess my injury. With no name and an injury that needed to be treated I needed a name for the vet records so they entered me in as John Doe. Well that name kind of stuck and now I go by JD.
After a round of antibiotics my foot has healed and I am now ready to be neutered and look for my forever family. I am the SWEETEST boy you’ll ever meet. I love to curl up on your lap and purr and purr and purr. I love to talk to my people and hang out in the same room. I have met some of the other cats in the home and shouldn’t have a problem getting along with any cats in your home. It doesn’t look like I’ve ever been around dogs before so the dogs in my foster home is the first interaction with them. And…well I do okay, but do not like when they come near me. I do relax if they ignore me, but don’t like playing or interacting with them at this point. Foster mom thinks I would settle in though if you have any calm, laid back dogs in the home.
Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
