Hi there! My name is Jersey Girl. I have been with my foster family for a short period of time, but they love me very much already. I am a very easy going, laid back and gentle giant with my humans. I like to get all the attention and love that I can. I love to be petted and spoiled. I get along with dogs, but am a dominant girl. I need to work on greeting new dogs and need proper introductions. I tend to feel threatened when a dog comes right at me too fast. I came to my foster family house and leash trained. I know my commands and I am also a good listener. I like to go for walks and sit out in the yard. It was mentioned from my previous owner that I have lived with cats. All I want in life is a home that loves me, continues to train me on how to be a dog that is loved and builds my confidence. I may need a home where I am the only dog or with a submissive male dog. I still need lots of help in being the best dog that I can be. I will certainly love my adoptive family and be the most loyal to them.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
