Hi there, I’m Jordan! I have actually been with SCARS for a while and those who follow us on facebook may remember my story from back at the end of September. I’ll just tell that sad part to get it out of the way before the important stuff like what kind of home I’m looking for and what a funny guy I am!

I was found on the side of the highway extremely injured and through a few nice people, made my way to SCARS and the care of a veterinarian. I had a tear in my abdominal wall with all my insides coming out of it, you can see from my pictures what I looked like when I got in – ouch! Luckily my new foster mom brought me to a great vet who put me back together. There were a lot of ongoing issues from this initial damage and I needed a second surgery to repair some delayed issues with my bladder. I may still have some issues in the future that we can talk about if you apply to take me home but I’m 99.9% good now and looking for a home!

Now for the fun stuff and an update on me today! I am about the sweetest cat ever my mom says and in all my trips to the vet, we learned that I LOVE dogs! I also love people, and cats and pretty well everyone I’ve met. I would love to go to a home with another cat and hopefully a dog sibling too! I’m the kind of guy who would fit into a big animal family and in fact would definitely do best with other animals in the home so foster mom says we will wait for a family that has people AND animals to love me! I like to sleep cuddled up with foster mom every night but don’t let all the sleepy pictures fool you, I’m a young guy (about 7-8 months now) and have lots of energy to play! I also love my food and will need to stay on lots of canned food in my new home because it’s good for my bladder to get lots of moisture in my diet… and it’s good for my tummy – yum!

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
