Hi I am Larry . I am a big pup and the vet thought I might be part Akita. I am going to be a big dog so its important to teach me well, while I am young . I am food motivated so treats are an excellent motivation for training. I like to be close to foster mom and I’m not overly independent. I like foster moms cats but they don’t want to play with me. Foster mom has a small dog and I like to play with her but I’m a bit big and clumsy I might be better with a bigger friend. My house training  is coming along well and I have only had one accident in the house. If you want a big active companion, I just may be your guy. Come see me soon at foster moms house.

March update:   I’m a fairly typical puppy, which means I’m quite happy-go-lucky and I need lots of exercise. I’m getting the hang of the housetraining thing although I still have a few accidents. I’m pretty good in my crate, and walk well on my leash. I’m a super curious dude, I love to check things out- new rooms, counters, really anything. I’m ok on my own but I also like to chill out with my foster mom and with the resident dog here. He’s super cool, he loves playing with me a lot. I’d love a furever home that would have another dog that would love to play with me too, but if not I definitely need my people to engage and play with me. My foster mom says I listen really well and I sit nicely for treats, although I’m still a little bit of a baby shark (doo doo doo ) when I take them…we’re working on it! If you think you would like a handsome dude like me, and can handle me in all my puppiness, and understand that I will probably grow into quite a large dog, well, fill in an application and let’s meet!

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
