Update 07 January, 2018
I’ve been here for a while now and I’ve made such good progress that foster mom thought we should do an update. As you will see below I was extremely shy and unsure of you humans when I came into care. Well guess what? Foster mom says I have blossomed into a very sweet sensitive girl. She wanted to tell you a little story. As you have read on my previous write up I’m quite a high energy girl. I just love to go, go, go and play, play, play. That is until you need me to cuddle you. That’s where the sensitive me comes in. A couple of days ago foster mom just had one of those days. She came home looking forward to seeing all of us happy canines and one of the resident dogs was quite under the weather. Poor foster mom was stressed and feeling a little down. Libre to the rescue! I just calmly pushed my head under her arm and climbed into her lap for a hug. I thought she could use some love. Foster mom says I’m very in tune to my person’s feelings. Don’t get me wrong, I still love my canine friends and would need a confident buddy in my home to show me the ropes but I really have come to realize that I love you humans too. My dream home with be and active home with a canine brother to show me the way.
You might remember me from a story a couple of months ago. I came into care with multiple other dogs from La Loche. I was very scared and unsocialized. I’ve been spending time getting used to new things attention from people. I’m 2 – 3 yr old happy girl. Foster mom says I’ve made great progress and am now ready to start my life in my forever home. I’m still a little unsure of new people but once I get to know and trust you I’m all about the love. I show foster mom every morning how happy I am to see her by giving tones of kisses. I watch my foster brother Luigi and try to take my ques from him. He seems to love the people and has shown me that attention is awesome. I will need a patient home with another confident and relaxed dog to show me the ropes. I do well with all of the other dogs here and like to run and play. I haven’t yet met the cats up close but I don’t show much interest in them.
