Here is the thing, I think I am a cat. I must have been raised by one. I rub myself on walls and furniture to leave my scent, I prefer to perch in high places, I sleep on your head and paw your face. Also, much like some cats, I take lots of time to warm up to other creatures and people. I may growl and posture or just hide under something. It takes me at least a day and night of living with another dog in my foster home before I test out the possibility of interacting and I can be a bit picky on who becomes a trusted friend. People are much the same, the ones that try to get my attention: pfft, no thanks I'll hide, the ones that ignore me and let me be, I eventually trust and like. I love living on a rural acreage where all the neighbours are almost out of sight. Here, I get to run in the fields off leash and enjoy my big fenced yard. In my environment, with my trusted people and dogs, I am a savage beast who plays hard, loves toys, is goofy and cuddly. I am about 27 pounds, but medium sized. I don't actually know if I am good with cats but I imagine okay with a slow introduction. I have never met kids, but I think viciously nibbling when nervous is appropriate so at least 14+. Acreage is a must, and an appropriate dog friend is a must.
