Hey, Did you know I have been with SCARS 5 months already?!

Here is the thing – I am looking for an acreage home, one where I have a safe fenced area and space to play off leash with my dog siblings (I need a home with at least one of those too). Cities sound like such a crazy concept to me, even neighbours in sight can seem like an imminent threat. I prefer the space to be able to make my own choices – I make good ones if I can take my time.

I am very introverted, and it takes quite a bit of work to join my social circle, whether you are of the 2 or 4 legged variety. So, if you are looking for a social dog it isn’t me. I am just looking for people and dogs of my very own. You will have to trust my foster family that I am worth it– I am HILARIOUS when I play and a fascinating conversationalist (hence my name).

Qualities in people/dogs I appreciate are: pretty chill and patient (I don’t like things that try too hard or are overly persistent, just let me come when I am ready), playful (once I like you, man, I play, play hard, wrestle, tug, fetch, chase, jump, run), and snuggly (couches, beds, that is where I am comfortable, even if you think I am too big to be an actual lap dog.. I lay on your lap-ish).

Special needs:

Other friendly dog in the home and fenced yard.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
