November 17: Back in July I was on my own and found a kind family who fed me, they noticed that I wasn’t using my left front leg and took me to the local veterinary clinic. The vet clinic called SCARS for help and I was taken to Westlock Veterinary Center, that’s how I became a member of the SCARS family. It was thought that my leg might need to be amputated but thanks to Dr. Tannis Jackson’s surgical expertise, my leg was saved.
I wasn’t happy that I had to limit my activity for a few months but the confinement was worth it, I am now up and about and loving my freedom. I was already a big girl but not being active has left me with some weight to loose and I will, with time.
I’m an affectionate girl, love attention and couldn’t be happier then when I’m being brushed. I like my people although I’m told I can be a bit vocal. I’m okay with the big dogs in my foster home, they’re not used to adult cats but they are good to me. Right now I’m sharing my foster home with six kittens and although they’re a busy group they can be entertaining.
I’m ready to be adopted and if I’m the girl for you, please contact SCARS to meet me.
