Hi! My name is Nash and the vet said I’m a Shepherd Cross. I NEED LOTS of attention, enjoy being on the go and playing outside. I’m great at jumping in the snow and going for long walks provided I have my boots on as my feet do tend to get cold very quickly. Currently I’m on a big acreage and am loving the option to be very active outside.
I’m well trainned on my leash even when on a run. I do tend to want to go on solo adventures if off my leash so I should be kept on leash at all times for now. I don’t mind sleeping in my crate but I may need a bit of a shove in at first, I do prefer to be hanging out very close to you AT ALL TIMES.
I currently can sit, laydown and am learning how to “stay”. I have no interest in playing with any type of ball but do love a good sqeaky toy.
I do very well during car rides (after you get me in my crate of course). I have zero interest in cats or cars on the road from what my foster mom can tell. I don’t flinch when the door bell rings or someone knocks, just curious who’s visiting when I hear a new voice. I do tend to be a bit protective over my foster mom when men are around.
I would probably do well in a home where I’ll get lots of attention as well as being able to go for long walks or runs daily and be close by your side when we are indoors.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
