Update: Hey, I’m Ophelia. I am a really good dog, or so I’m told. I personally think I’m human, though. I’m not a big fan of this kibble stuff my feeding person gives me, but he eats some stuff that smells really, really yummy. I also don’t get why he doesn’t let me on the couch with the other people. I’m not even sure he knows. He makes a loud noise when I attempt it, but I try again shortly after, in case he is confused. I walk with him pretty well, though he has to hold a rope that he connects to me so he doesn’t get lost. I get a bit lonely in my crate if there’s no other dog around at night, but it’s also a nice place to go for quiet time.
I’m used to running and playing, so living with an old dog took some getting used to, but we’re getting along. The cats are fun, but they hiss at me a lot. I like to chase them when they run, but the feeding person makes loud noises at that as well. He says a lot of things, which I assume all mean, “roll over for a belly rub.” Belly rubs are the greatest. I’m about three, so I could easily keep up with young dogs, but once I’m used to a routine, I can chill a bit as well. All around, as much as I think I’m a human, I am still pretty good compared to dogs!
Hi SCARS peeps, my sister and I came to SCARS as we were behaving poorly (side note, I’ve been told adopting siblings is BAD idea) well ya, we were that bad idea, together we are a dynamic but ill mannered duo.  But separately we are dolls that would make a great companion to almost any household. We are good with dogs, have not yet met the cats, love people.  I am a 2.5-3year old female, terrier mix, don’t let the photos fool you, I am about 50-60lb female. I have NEVER been an only dog so I would most likely do better in a home with another dog.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
