Hiya! I’m Piper and I lovvvveeee people! I am a Husky/ Sheltie cross, 2 and a half years old, medium sized at 30 lbs

I am a morning girl with medium energy. At my ideal home, I’ll get some morning exercise. Morning belly rubs and cuddles are awesome too! I think I am great on a leash, though I do walk briskly, as I have places to check out. Since I am so clever, I learned “slowly”, “careful” (because it’s icy) and “this way” commands when walking. I am gentle, docile, playful, and super cute. You will love watching my antics as I play with stuffed toys and Kongs. I greet new people very nicely, no jumping or mouthing, and I am great in new environments.

As I am not tested with dogs, or off leash, a fenced backyard to romp around is a must.  I’m good with cats. Crate training is new for me and I’m improving. I know basic commands, love treats and food toys, yay! Not tested with kids, but I’m gentle and could be good. I would love their attention. I love people so much, I follow my foster folks all over the house. My forever home will help me learn “stay”.

I will make an amazing companion and cuddle bunny to a family that likes to entertain doggies with games, exercise, and adventures. I am already a Pup Star!!!

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
