I’m a bearded fellow. I am about 3 years old and weigh 17.5 kg
Being in a loving foster home is so great. I’m really getting good at being myself and enjoying life. My parents say I’m very sporty and agile! They laugh when we get home from jogging and hiking through the trees, and I sprint around the yard by myself.
Although I’m a man of action outdoors, I do have a very cuddly side. You can pet me for hours and I will politely put my paw on you for more if you stop. But, I do understand sometimes I have to hang out on my own. I used to be very submissive, but am working on being braver. More work is required to boost my confidence, but I’m well on my way.
Want to play games and tricks? I love to learn! Toys are still a bit new to me, but I can learn tricks like nobody’s business. I’m very smart and eager to please.
I’ve met a lot more dogs and kids now, and I only like some of them. I prefer older kids and grownups. It’s best if my new home doesn’t have any small kids. They’re sort of erratic and make me feel uncomfortable. And, anything that will run is pretty exciting because I will chase it. Otherwise, I don’t pull on my leash anymore. I’m a nice walking/jogging companion.
Riding in vehicles is really neat. Don’t you love to look out the window? Me too. I’m well behaved if you leave me in the car or at home alone. Being in my crate is OK, but not really necessary. I understand that I’m only allowed on one couch, and I often just hang out there for a few naps during the day. My dog bed is where you’ll find me at night.
If you like super-cute, super-cuddly, and super-athletic, I’m the super-dog for you! I’m looking forward to meeting you and maybe we can go for a walk? But, you can pet me for a bit first.
