Do you loooovvvvveeee water?! And fetch in the water? I am your guy! And if you want to know more cool details check out my Virtual Meet and Greet!

Check out that photo. Handsome aren’t I?! I even have a bow tie on my collar. But don’t let that mislead you, I  found my way back to SCARS and it is a bit my fault. I am an ill mannered guy when it comes to dogs you see, with my wild leash antics and inappropriate dog park behavior (I am NOT a dog park dog). I’ll be honest I need some work on my dog skills, I have made some female playmates while with SCARS but we don’t live in the same space because I am a jerk of a roommate. I loooove toys, and people. Cats are a big no, as are small animals, horses etc. With the right handler I can walk past all of the above like a gentleman but my exuberance to meet them includes running up to them and putting them in my mouth. Rude, right? I have made some drastic improvements with leash skills but that could easily slide back into I drag you where ever I want to go, I need on going training and encouragement to keep up my manageable ways. Good in a crate too. I will do just about anything for food or a toy, so with good timing and rules I am really fun to teach things to. And I am capable of jumping 6 foot fence, so unattended yard time is not a match for me. Playtime with you in the yard is fine.

I also have tons of energy to do the activities.

Turns out I have a natural instinct for collecting ducks too! Check out this video.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
