Still here!? Yep I am. For the right home I will be the perfect addition. I love dogs, all dogs, big small, old young, male female, I have a lot of smarts and confidence when it comes to other dogs. People a little less so, some are scary, new ones make me a bit hesitant but once I like you I love you. The little ones are not my thing. Same with cats, no cats for me. I am happy with country life, less stress more freedom – I love to collect things from around the acreage to stash in my dog house and chew on later. When I am really really happy, I grin (see photo) it is pretty adorable!
Rudy, wild Rudy formerly Cinnamon has endure quite the life change, he came from a home where his owner died, he then went into foster, he got adopted and due to Rudy’s dislike of strangers approaching he didn’t do well as an office companion with several people coming and going, his owners were devastated but had to return him, Rudy then had a chance again in a home where he got out the door and ran amuck in a northern town for a day, and now he is back here awaiting a chance.  Rudy is shy of new people, but does warm up, Rudy LOVES other dogs and would benefit from a home with others dogs not good with cats though. Rudy thinks kids are possibly meant to be chased but can withhold the urge, he is a 7 year old male, terrier mix,  30lbs.  Rudy likes his crate and can take or leave car rides, he doesn’t seem to care for many treats but we are working on it.  He loves affection and has great recall when he likes his person.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
