Sally Update

Update – February 2017

Hey everyone! It has been awhile since anyone has heard from me so here’s an update. I am doing very well in my foster home. I have come a long way from when I first got here. I am still a shy gal but I am getting better. I love to sleep on the bed next to my foster dad. He calls me his baby girl, I like him better then foster mom but don’t tell her that. I am very soft spoken. When I meow you can barely hear me. I like to play with the other cats in the house but I also like to play by myself. Sometimes when the other cats are sleeping I like to run around chasing toys and just being a crazy cat. I am pretty good at staying out of trouble. I do not get into things that mom says aren’t for me and I barely ever jump on the table. Being on the table makes me feel so tall and I can see everything but mom shuts that down pretty fast, tables are for food not kitties. My foster parents cannot believe that no one has applied on me. They tell me everyday how beautiful they think I am and they aren’t wrong. I mean have you seen me. Pictures do not do me justice.

Nov 2016:Hey! I’m Sally. I was so lucky to end up in SCARS care and even luckier that I could be placed in a home with my boy friend Oogie. I came in skinny and malnourished. The vet clinic helped me to put on some weight and gave me a warm loving place to be until we were moved to our foster home. The first few days here were scary. So many new things to adjust to. At first the dogs and other cats here freaked me out! I spent most of the time under the bed. I would only really come out for meal times. Its been a few more days now and things are getting better. I’m still a bit shy and enjoy the safety of being under the bed but I am starting to come out more and more. I’ll even come on the bed and cuddle my foster mom even when the dogs are on there. I really love my people though. I purr like crazy and love to be pet and cuddled. Loud noises still make me jump and wanna run away but I’m working on that. My parents think I am such a beautiful girl and that I will grow into an even more beautiful cat. It would be great if Oogie and I could be adopted together but its not a must. Anyone would be lucky to have a fantastic cat like me.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
