For the month of November our bonded adoption fee is %50 off, or $300 to celebrate national Adopt a Senior Pet Month!

It’s time for an update, it’s been several months since Statler and I came into the pound as the “trapline” dogs. We are older fellas, lets just say senior. We were terribly thin and in need of some TLC.

Today we are social butterflies that our foster mom says are a joy to foster. We have a routine and won’t let foster mom forget it. Most important is breakfast! don’t forget breakfast! Then we lounge around for a bit and then it’s time for the walk. We love our walks! Us senior dogs get very excited for the chance to explore and just hang out with you. We never wander far from your side and are great off leash. We can go in and out as we please throughout the day, we never mess or are destruction. Thats the great thing about us senior dogs. At bed time we get a treat, another exciting moment in the day.

SCARS is sure we are related and have been together our whole lives and we would like to stay together. We are large boys, about 100lbs.We are both very sweet and gentle. It’s obvious to foster mom we have not had alot of affection but we still enjoy it and we just love to follow her around everywhere. At this point in our lives we would be most comfortable on a fenced acerage where we have lots of room but are able to come inside and enjoy your company too. We have never lived in a city.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
