May 2017 Update:
Hey peeps! How’s it going? For me it has been a fantastic few months. I have exciting news! My diabetes is in remission so that means I don’t need insulin shots currently. My foster mom can tell you more about it if you want but let me tell you that I SO enjoy not getting those! I have become quite the playful cat and have started cuddling with humans. They are pretty cosy to sleep on. I am just starting to get used to my harness and love to go on walks. I realized that I hate dogs but still not too sure about other cats. But I love my people and am not timid at all!
Hi I’m Tabitha! Let me tell you about what I like and do not like. Likes: food, head rubs, back rubs, food, talking, my orange plastic toy, sleeping, talking, food. Did I mention food and talking?? Dislikes: belly rubs, tail or feet being touched, being held. I would do better with older kids as I will tell you to stop touching my tail. I love my people and want to be around them as much as possible however I am not a lap cat.
I am a muted calico, approximately 7 yrs old (but it could be anyone’s guess) and I have diabetes. Please don’t let this scare you! I take my insulin shots really well but struggle a bit with the glucose meter (just cause I don’t like being held). Due to my condition I need a specific home that is willing to give my shots twice per day and take me to the vet on a regular basis.
