Hello, my name is Truffles. I am a female cat (even though I look like I have a moustache) and I’ve been living at my foster placement for over 8 months now.
I have gotten a lot healthier since living here!
My foster mom has a big fluffy ragdoll cat that I get along with. We “play-fight” all of the time! We also chase & groom one another all throughout the night lol 😂
I am still very shy at first around new people, and I will usually hide underneath the bed when a new person comes over. But in time I will come out and play. I am about 1.5 years old now. Will you adopt me into a loving home?
Update, July 28:
“Hello there! My name is Truffles, I’ve been with my foster mom for 3months now! I was told I was found abandoned in a trailer park near Leduc! Word on the kitty streets is I’m a Stray… I’ve come a long way since living here… and although it takes me a long while to warm up to humans, my foster mom has a BIG fluffy ragdoll cat who I get along with very well! She’s my favourite older sister and I love annoying her (We can often be found grooming one another, and playing tag!) My foster mom thinks I will be more outgoing and affectionate with humans with time.
Will you be willing to adopt me? I do really well with lots and lots of patience (ps. I am VERY easily spooked, So another kitty friend would be perfect for me. )
Update, July 3: Did you all see how I looked in my first few photos?
I didn’t know where I was going… I was scared… I was sad…
Now, look at me! It’s taken almost 2 months for me to get back on track and with lots of help from my foster mom and my foster siblings – I have learned life is pretty neat. I learned I get pets whenever I want, I learned that cat toys are really cool and at the end of the day; I learned there is always a safe spot to sleep with lots of delicious food.
Without my foster home, I have no idea where I would be… Thank you foster mom. I think I’m ready to fly now.
I’ve been in care for a few weeks now, and I’ve needed some time to learn how to be a cat. See, I was scared of everything and wanted to hide — but with the help of a confident cat in the home, I’m learning how fun it is to be around you.
If you’re looking to smother me with kisses? I’m probably not your dude. If you’re ok for me to do my own thing? I’d fit right in.
If you have patience, time and love – I’m your guy!
