Hi! I’m turnip! You must have seen me on Global. I’m good with cats, kids and dogs. I’m a brave little girl but this is the sad tale of a little girl who was not who she thought she was.
The realization came the morning of December 2nd, after walking past foster mom’s full length mirror. No, my pants didn’t make my butt look big, but my discovery was equally traumatic. I saw a tiny little body, with tall pointy ears, and a face full of long whiskers. And then it hit me – I’m a CAT.
I’ve gone my whole life thinking I was a dog. My last foster home was chalk FULL of them. Thanks to their influence, I chase balls, wrestle with puppies, flop over for belly rubs. I cuddle with the little girl at bed every night and make friends with everybody I meet.
On the bright side, my adopters will get the best of both worlds – a cuddly, playful dog-like kitten who uses the litterbox and likes to stay clean. Besides, foster mom tells me that cats live the high life – I guess I’ll have to be the judge of that.
If you’re interested in showing me that being a cat isn’t so bad, send in an application! I’d love to meet you!
