Update!

Hi there my name is Zea! My foster mom has been calling me Z because I surprised her by being a handsome man instead of the lady we were expecting. I have only been at my foster home for a few days but I am really loving this indoor life where it is warm and there are lots of things to explore. I’m just so curious!

I love laps and cuddles and love nothing more that being around my humans, or any humans for that matter. I also love my food and treats! Especially the food my foster mom is trying to eat.

I am ok with having cats around and we will know more once the resident cat adjust to having me around. But I’m not so sure about this dog yet, he is pretty big.

I’m a super fun, belly-rub-loving boy who is ready for my forever home!

Hey guys. If you are looking for friendly, I am your cat! I was an outdoor cat my life before SCARS. I am so used to mousing that I seem to think the Guinea pig is my dinner…. I am a slim girl but not small. I am tall and leggy with a looonnnnggg tail. My biggest love is food. I am so focused on food I hardly notice the other animals around here. I do have some war wounds on my face though – the scars of survival out in the world fending for myself but hopefully as I learn about this warm, safe food filled life I won’t have the need to compete with other cats or dogs. If you think you can help me continue to gain a couple pounds and fill my belly please let SCARS know!

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we will deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
