Hi, Zsa Zsa here! I figured it’s about time for an update on me, now that I’ve been with SCARS for about a year! First of all, I am very excited to say that SCARS has decided my sister Eva and I must be adopted out together. We have faced every situation we are put into as a team in the past year and as a result have become the best of friends, always looking out for each other.
As you may remember I came to SCARS as a very scared kitten but foster mom says she is very impressed with how far I have come, considering where I started out. This is my third SCARS foster home (through no fault of my own!) and with each move it has taken less and less time for me to adjust to my new surroundings. I have to be honest, my sister and I are both still skittish and scared but foster mom believes if we can find a furever home that is willing to give us some time (aka about a week of hiding under the bed) and patience, they will come to see what she sees, very sweet and loveable cats.
I love to play with feathers, strings and bells. I love to look out the window and sit in my cat tree. Most of all I love running around the house and playing with my sister Eva, we make quite the pair!
BEDTIME IS MY FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY. I am very cautious when foster mom is up and walking around. During the day I like attention when I come asking for it, I prefer just following her around and supervising the situation, but I LOVE bedtime. I love to snuggle with foster mom and walk back and forth across her pillow for pats. Foster mom says my puuuurrrsss are sometimes so loud at night she can’t sleep! But that’s alright because in the morning she thinks I’m so cute stretched out beside her that she hits the snooze button a few more times than she should!
If you are looking for a couple of girls who need a little extra understanding but who are showing great potential and who will never let you go to bed lonely, please let SCARS know! We have seen many of our foster siblings come and go and we are hoping it is our turn soon!
Hi there, I came to SCARS with my two sisters (Magda and Eva) a while ago as VERY scared kittens and our very patient foster mom has been waiting us out in the hopes that we “normal” soon! Magda was the first to cave and is now a very cuddly girl and foster mom thinks Eva is on the verge of cracking next! I do interact with foster mom but it comes out a bit awkward still – I like to grab her hand and gnaw on her fingers – it may not sound nice but I purr the whole time and mean it as a compliment. Us unsocialized ladies just don’t really know what to do with our affection but we’re learning!. If you’re looking for a cat where you can see a transformation and think I might be your girl just let us know – probably I would do best in a home without little kids because I do startle pretty easily but I live with other cats and a dog so I can get on board with those guys and would in fact love a home with a friendly cat I can bond with!
