We are excited to ameownce that 100% of purr-ceeds raised from the Sunday, May 31, 2026 Edmonton International Cat Festival will be donated to: SECOND CHANCE ANIMAL RESCUE SOCIETY (SCARS) and HOPE LIVES HERE ANIMAL RESCUE.

Since 2014, the Edmonton International Cat Festival has donated $187,000 to local cat rescues!

We thank all rescues who applied to be considered as donation recipients from this year’s cat-themed festivities.

The Edmonton Cat Festival volunteer organizing committee voted to split donations of funds raised from the May 31, 2026 Edmonton International Cat Festival between two local rescues:
