Now that I'm starting to feel better I thought it was time to do an update on myself. I have had a few issues with my liver but I have been getting better and better every day. It has been managed with diet and medication and I have turned into a playful energetic boy. I will need some follow up appointments with my vet here but my meds hopefully will decrease. I have settled into my foster home and am getting used to my routine. I do like to bark at everyone that comes through the door but once I feel secure I'm less likely to use my mouth when excited. Being that I am quite vocal I would not be suitable to an apartment or condo. I love going to the dog park but those big dogs sometimes frighten me. I do I love playing in the small dog area. I live with a cat and while I sometimes try playing with her but I don't chase her. I love playing with other dogs my size, I mean I really love playing. Hello everyone. Bratwurst here and I am a bundle of energy in a nice compact package. Not very tall, but not too small, I am likely a Corgi mix. Now I know I am adorable, just a fluffy bunch of cuteness and on the small size, but I won't be perfect for everyone. When I get super excited or I get super scared I use my mouth, I am not mean I just react. With time, confidence, more experiences, and work on manners I likely will be just fine, but SCARS is not going to consider homes for me with young children at this time. So far I seem fine with other dogs.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
