The ladies at SCARS keep telling me everything is going to be okay, but I just don’t trust it yet.

My name is Gabby, I came in because I had my foot caught in a trapline. I will explain more information in a story soon. I was brought into Westlock Vet Center, and then they tried with all their energy to save my leg. Sadly, there was no saving. I am not the cutest, shyest amputee there is.

The removed my back left leg, and I am just learning how to be a dog now. I am pretty scared, I am pretty shy but my tail is slowly starting to wag at the lovely vet staff at westlock vet. I will be moved into a foster home in February and will be looking for my forever home then.

Stay tuned on my story.

Please note: If other cats/dogs in your home are not spayed/neutered, we may deny your application. SCARS exists due to lack of spaying/neutering and it is our goal to end this cycle. If there is a documented medical reason for your animal to not be spayed/neutered, we will work with you.
