This little firecracker looks like she has defied all the odds of survival. She is a stray that was found along a highway.
There was a dime sized wound on her cheek that went right through into her mouth. On that same side, she also had an injured eye. She was also covered in little scab wounds and had mats all over her body. She also has bad bruising on her belly/chest.
We aren’t sure if she was tossed from a car or attacked by something. If she didn’t have those visible wounds, you wouldn’t know she had gone through so much. She is a purr monster! And all she wants to do it cuddle. She’s a great girl who is currently recovering. She is not yet available for adoption.
We have had many medical emergencies over the past weeks! In order for us to continue to help these animals in need – 50/50 raffles have become vital. Please consider purchasing tickets in our current raffle. Who knows maybe it will be you who wins the whole pot! https://www2.rafflebox.ca/raffle/scars
April 27 … Mina Update!
We are happy to say that our tiny little fighter has recovered enough to move into her foster home. There Mina will continue to heal from her injuries and hopefully gain some much-needed weight. She has an appointment next week to take closer look at her eye as it also sustained some damage, but the extent is not yet known. For now, Mina is very happy to be in a safe environment where she can act like a kitten again.
