Our adoption fees are set to just cover basic medical expenses, so when dogs like Target need extra tests, in this case x-rays, that is covered by donations.
Target had been shot in his front leg, but the injury was never treated. After x-rays and consulting with a specialist we learned that it is now impossible to fix. He does still use his leg, so he will be on pain medication to manage his discomfort. He will likely never be a good running companion but can live a full life!
